Record a session, understand your sailing and prepare your next debrief.

Getting started

Edit activity details

Correct the session context or recording before using it in a comparison.

iOS, Android and web · Core features

Where to start

Activity → Settings → Edit Activity.

  1. Review the details

Check the activity name, boat, wind strength and activity type. Add the available focus, sea-state and rating information where useful.

  2. Choose visibility and save

Stealth Mode hides the activity from connections and prevents comparisons with other owners’ activities. Save your changes.

  3. Add the session takeaway

Use Session Notes for the overall training log. Use a replay note for an observation at a particular moment.

Trim the recording
  1. Open Settings → Trim Activity.
  2. Drag the start and end handles, or enter the times directly. The selected interval is the part you will keep.
  3. Check Duration Kept, then select Apply Trim and review the updated activity.

Trimming changes the part of the activity you retain. To save a race or tuning run while keeping the whole recording, create a segment in replay instead.

Correct the wind reference
  1. Open Settings → Adjust Wind Direction.
  2. Inspect several runs in Map or Wind View, then adjust the reference. Avoid judging it from a single unusual turn.
  3. Select Apply. After the update, review the classification and wind-relative measurements.

The wind reference affects VMG, wind angles and the classification of upwind and downwind sailing. Correct it when the displayed reference does not match the session.

Correct the activity clock
  1. Open Settings → Offset Activity Time.
  2. Enter the adjustment and check the Original and New start/end times.
  3. Select Apply Offset, then verify the session against a known event.

Use this when the activity recording has the wrong timestamps. If only the camera clock is wrong, use Correct Video Timestamp instead.

Import external measurements
  1. Open Settings → Upload External Data and select a CSV, TXT or TSV log.
  2. Choose the channels to import. Check their names and units, especially if you will compare them across sailors.
  3. Check how the log overlaps the activity. Correct the sensor-log offset if necessary, then confirm the import.
  4. Select the new channels in replay or analysis and check a recognizable event to verify alignment.

Use this for a separate timestamped sensor log. Suitable imported wind can also become the wind reference and trigger reanalysis.

Export activity data
  1. Open Settings → Export Data.
  2. Choose CSV for a table or spreadsheet, or JSON for structured data.
  3. Select Export and save the resulting file.

The export contains full-resolution processed samples and the sensor channels available for the activity. Keep the original recording separately if you need an untouched source file.
