Record Your Session
Use the Vantage app or a compatible device to track your session on the water. Grant location permission, tap start, and the app records in the background—even with the screen off. When you're done, tap stop; the activity is processed and analyzed immediately.
Step 02
Upload GPS or Device Data
Import existing sailing data from Vakaros, Sailmon, Garmin, or GPX files. Garmin users can enable automatic uploads so sessions sync to Vantage the moment they're saved—no manual steps required.
Step 03
Analyze Performance
Get speed analysis (VMG, tack bias, distribution), maneuver analysis, and automatic or custom segments. Metrics are ready instantly after sailing, with filtering by performance percentile to focus on your best sailing.

When you've sailed at the same time and location as your connections, compare data side-by-side in visualizations and stats. See precisely where you gained or lost time and use it to improve together.
